Michelle Benfold

I have been a registered Childminder for over 6 years. I am a fun, loving and kind person who can offer families a fantastic service using all my experience as a Mum. I live with my partner Paul and my 3 children aged 17 years, 13 years and 8 years.

I have a separate playroom with a good range of resources suitable for different ages and stages of development. I have an enclosed garden with outside play equipment; this can be accessed directly from the playroom. I encourage children to form their own personalities and make their own decisions as well as providing planned activities focussing on the EYFS' 7 Areas of Learning. We take regular outings to local playgroups, parks, soft play, local libraries and further afield.

I work in close partnership with parents/carers to provide every child with a safe, caring environment with equal opportunities. I have completed my CACHE level 3 diploma for the children and young people’s workforce as well as the required training in EYFS and Safeguarding.  I have my Paediatric First Aid certificate and a level 2 in Food Hygiene as well as completing several other ad hoc training courses.  I am fully insured and offer the 2, 3 & 4 year old funding.
