Sensoriel is based at Ashland House and provides two large multi-sensory rooms popular with both adults and children.
The two rooms offer different themes and are available for groups of up to seven or for individual needs.
The Calm Sensory Room
A Large space encompassing bubble tubes, fibre optics, dark den with starlight carpet, projectors, vibro-acoustic couch, ball pool and large soft play slide.
A gentle environment to encourage relaxation, communication, stimulation and movement.
The Interactive Room
A fully interactive room hosting a Sensory Guru Magic Carpet, bubble tubes, projectors, vibro-acoustic bean bags and fibre optics.
The magic carpet enables you to manipulate the projection on the floor via movement from your arm or whole body. There are educational options fitting in with EYFS/KS1/KS2 frameworks, stories, light and colour, plus many more categories to choose from to set the scene and gain the most.
You can enjoy teas, coffees, tasty snack and a varied lunch menu in our community café,
open Monday to Friday 9:30 – 2:30pm.
The café provides a safe environment to meet, eat and source information on services and businesses that can help you day to day.
We host carers’ coffee mornings and other support groups, along with information and signposting.
