Newton Westpark Nursery was opened in September 2014 and is accessible for children aged from 2-4 year olds. We are situated in a residential area of Leigh and have the benefit of being on the grounds of Newton Westpark Primary School. We offer quality childcare for up to 32 children per day, we have capacity for 16 2 year olds and 16 3 year olds within each session, each age group having their own space and both age groups sharing the outdoor provision.
We have 9 members of staff, 8 of which hold level 2 and above qualifications and have ample experience within the childcare sector. We also employ an apprentice who is working towards her level 2 in early years.
Our children access a range of activities indoors and outdoors, both adult and child led linking to the Early Years Stage Framework. We have good links with the school whereby the children access a P.E session and Toddler Group within the week.
We, as a setting have good relationships with parents/carers within the community and thrive on the fact that our parents will recommend us to their friends and family and will return with their other children.
