Joanne Pownall

My name is Joanne, I am 35 years old and I live with my 2 children, who are 14 and 16. I am an Ofsted registered childminder in the Hindley area.  I have a level 3 childcare qualification and I hold a paediatric first aid certificate. I have public liability insurance.  I have an enhanced CRB, a food hygiene certificate and I have undertaken safeguarding children training. 
My aim is to provide quality childcare in a home from home setting. I will provide a warm, friendly, safe, home environment with a family atmosphere in which I will include involvement in activities such as cooking, shopping, arts and crafts and family mealtimes where your child can play, learn and develop. Children will receive consistent one-to-one attention whilst enjoying interaction with others. I appreciate you as the parents are the most important people in your child’s life and therefore will consult with you on all aspects of your child’s care.
