We have continued to provide a service since the start of lock down for the children of key workers. A high quality out of school club is exactly what you will receive. Staff with over 39 years of childcare work experience and qualified to degree level. All staff hold a First Aid qualification.
Care Love Learn Childcare based at St Oswald's will be providing full day care during the October half term holiday. We are ready, fully prepared and COVID compliant in order to provide your children with a great half term holiday camp experience. We will be open from 7.30am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday starting on the 26th October for 5 days. Booking forms are available now but places are limited due to COVID restrictions. The holiday camp is available to all children, is fully inclusive and accessible. We have sole use of the school site and have space to create separate bubbles of children as necessary.
We provide wrap around care for all children. Our opening times are 7.30am to 9.00am and the afterschool club is open until 6.00pm every day Monday to Friday for children aged 3 to 11 years. The price includes breakfast, morning snack and tea which most nights is a hot meal and can cater for all dietary needs. All your child needs is a packed lunch.
Children can be collected from Rectory primary school and Edmond Arrowsmith secondary school. The collection of children is complaint with COVID safety. Seat covers are used for each child, masks are worn by the driver and the car is sanitised after each pick up.
We have a fabulous range of indoor and outdoor activities with some truly wonderful and experienced staff. The Manager has a BA Hons degree, one member of staff is a qualified teacher, one member of staff has a level 3 NVQ and one member of staff is working towards an NVQ play work qualification.
All our staff are First Aid qualified.
The Out of school club is based at St Oswald's Catholic primary school in Ashton-in-Makerfield, Wigan.
We have been open for 12 months and are registered with Ofsted. The Manager/Owner Sue Morris is a familiar face in this area having worked with Wigan children's services for 39 years and 25 of those years in the Ashton-in-Makerfield area.
We opened our doors on the 29th July 2019 and in September started the breakfast and afterschool club. You can acquire a leaflet to register your interest for your child. These are located in the school reception, or for further information you can email Sue on: email@example.com
