No need to book, just come along and have some musical fun.

Suitable for 18 months - 3 year olds

  • Term time only

Established in 2006, Mini Maestros is a fun, interactive session for toddlers and pre-schoolers who, with their parent or carer, can begin a love of music. Be it playing an instrument, singing or enjoying being in a musical environment.

The sessions are run by mum of two and professional musician Sarah Lord who performs with a number of professional orchestras including the Hallè and Northern Chamber Orchestra. She brings her extensive music knowledge and skills to help your little ones start to hear and distinguish different notes, loud and quiet, fast and slow. Mini Maestros (time) sessions are suitable for toddlers to pre-schoolers and can build on their early experiences and include action songs, poems, movement and aspects of the world around them.

The structured session includes a wide variety of music and rhyme to aid language development and develop motor skills. There are also opportunities to hear many different styles of music whilst having fun. Week by week children of all ages grow in confidence, ability and creativity. Even more importantly, it is fantastic fun and full of giggles for parents.
