Happy Smiles Training CIC
We provide interactive training workshops, focusing on many aspects of inclusion, equality and diversity. Our training is uniquely facilitated by our Inclusion Champions - young adults who experience disability on a daily basis.

Happy Smiles Training CIC is a non-profit training provider, set up with the aim of creating inclusive communities, by empowering disabled young adults to deliver awareness and inclusion training across schools, community groups, businesses and more. In the past two years, we have delivered training to over 3500 children, young people and adults, and been recognised for two national awards. Over 75% of our team is made up of people with direct lived experience of disability and 100% of our audiences have recommended our training. When Covid-19 hampered our in-person delivery in schools, I wanted to find another way to positively impact children and young people. This led to the production of a children's book, 'My Grandma Has Dementia', inspired by my grandma who lived with dementia
Amazon.co.uk - My Grandma Has Dementia (The My... Has... series) Paperback
The book was successfully crowdfunded and released at the start of 2021. It has since sold hundreds of copies worldwide, been recognised as a best-selling children's book on Amazon and won a Dementia Hero Award 2021. This sparked a series of books, raising awareness for children and young people about a range of long-term health conditions, including depression, cancer and tourettes. My second book, 'My Uncle Has Depression' was featured on ITV, which you can see here:
