I am an experienced Childminder and I provide all year round day care for children from 0 to 5 years providing funded and non-funded childcare places.

My name is Katie. I am very positive, confident and hardworking mum of two lovely girls aged 8 and 12 and a wonderful 4-years old boy. I am very outgoing and active person. I am creative and my head is always full of ideas - there is no time for being bored. I am very passionate about caring for children and ensuring they get the best start possible. I am a good listener, I'm honest and reliable. I will do my very best to meet your expectations as a childminder.

I've had a variety of roles at my previous employment however since the birth of my second daughter I've decided to change my career towards childminding. I love spending time with children and childminding is something I always wanted to be actively involved in. Looking after my children gave me the best experience ever and made me realise how important the level of care is.

I can provide a safe and caring environment for your child. I have lots of toys, activities, and ideas to nurture children’s development and keep them happy and interested.

I am fully qualified childminder. I have completed Paediatric First Aid Training and I've attended Safeguarding Children Awareness training. I am very familiar with the Curriculum for the Foundation Stage (EYFS) using it as a guide for observation, assessment and planning to ensure all children meet their milestones. I feel it is essential to work in partnership with parents, communicating regularly and discussing children’s achievements and expectations towards me and the children.

I have been inspected by Ofsted in September 2022 and I was graded Outstanding (the inspection report is available to look at on the Ofsted page).
