Britannia Bridge Primary School - Nursery

Britannia Bridge Primary School is a true community school, providing the very best for ‘each and everyone’ of our 2 to 11 year old children and their families. We are situated in the heart of Lower Ince, within easy reach of Wigan Town Centre.  Our school was built in 2016 and has enabled us to have a 2 year and 3 year old Nursery.  These two Nursery groups are taught in separate, full equipped and delightful classrooms.

Our 2 year old Nursery caters for children who receive the 15 hours funded nursery.  We are a 12 part time place Nursery, mornings 9.00 am - 12.00noon, 5 days per week, term time only.  Paid places are sometimes available at the current rate of £5.57 per hour. All our 2 year old Nursery staff are qualified in Early Years and Lead staff have over 14 years experience. 

Our 3 year old Nursery caters for children with 15 and 30 hours funded Nursery.  We are a 52 place part or full time Nursery. 

We have 5 options to choose from, to suit your needs.  

Option A - Every morning - 5 days - 9.00am - 12.00noon

Option B - Every afternoon - 5 days - 12.30pm - 3.30pm

Option C - Monday & Tuesday - full days 9.00am - 3.30pm and Wednesday morning 9.00am - 12.00 noon

Option D - Wednesday afternoon - 12.30pm - 3.30pm and Thursday & Friday - full days 9.00am - 3.30pm

Option F - (30 hours funded only) Full time Monday - Friday - 9.00am - 3.30pm

Children who are in Nursery full days may be entitled to Free School Meals.

Paid places may be available at £4.28 per hour (please contact school for details and availability)

Tax-Free Childcare Payments and Childcare Vouchers are accepted for paid Nursery fees.

All our children learn in a safe and secure learning environment and our 3 year old Nursery is lead by a Qualified Teacher with fully Early Years trained staff.

 Our recent Ofsted Report states that the outcome of the school is Good.
