Newton Westpark Nursery

We provide term-time nursery care for children aged 2-4 years. Our large room is separated into 2 sections, Caterpillars (2-3) and Butterflies (3-4). We have an outdoor area with climbing and balancing equipment, as well as vehicles, building, a mud kitchen and bug house.

Here at Newton Westpark Nursery, we pride ourselves on building fantastic relationships with children and their parents/carers. This also has a positive impact on children’s learning when we all work together to support each other.

We have a large room, which is separated into 2 sections; Caterpillars (2-3) and Butterflies (3-4). We provide a wide range of activities and experiences to support children’s learning and development in all areas, but especially focussing on their Communication skills, Social skills and Physical development.

The children enjoy accessing the outdoor area, where they can climb, balance, ride bikes, build, explore sand and water, as well as their surroundings, looking for mini-beasts in our bug house.

Practitioners follow children’s interests and requests for activities to make their learning relevant and more fun.

We have a highly experienced team of practitioners who have worked in childcare for many years.

The majority of the team hold a Level 3 or above childcare qualification and we have our Apprentice who is learning on the job, whilst being a key person to a group of children. Staff are trained in Paediatric First Aid as well as Food Hygiene and attend regular courses to support their own abilities to provide stimulating and enriching experiences for your children.
