Heron Day Nursery - Norley Hall

We accommodate for children aged 2 years up to school leaving and this works really well, we are rolling out stay and play sessions from Feb 2020 (these will continue when it is safe to do so) and will aim at these once a month with a focus on certain areas of development linking this in with celebrations. We believe in good positive, parent and practitioners relationships enable our children to thrive to their best of their ability, and we welcome any information and ideas from our parents and carers.

Heron Day Nursery is a small, friendly and professional nursery that caters for children from two years of age until they are ready to start school.

We accept children who are entitled to 2, 3 and 4 year old funding, either accessing 15 hours or 30 hours. Fees can also be paid to the setting for children to access a nursery place, or to extend the free hours you attend.

We are located in Norley Hall Community Centre, Pemberton.

We are open 8.15am-4.15pm, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only).  Our session times are as follows, morning sessions are 9.00am-12.00pm and our afternoon sessions are 12.30pm-3.30pm and our full days are 9.00am - 3.00pm or 9.30am - 3.30pm. All of our staff are qualified at level 3. Staff also hold Paediatric First Aid qualifications.

The nursery and outdoor areas are well equipped with resources appropriate to children's ages and stages of development.

We follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and encourage children to learn through play, providing a range of enjoyable activities to promote your child's learning and development.

We are a diverse nursery and welcome children and their families from all backgrounds.
