We cater for babies and children aged three months to four years old. We offer babies and children stimulating, creative and fun opportunities where they can make new friends in a comfortable and safe environment.

Squirrels believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life and support to gain their full potential. A child’s experience in the early years has a major impact on their future life. We are supporting the development by nurturing our future leaders of the world. A secure, safe and happy childhood is important, and it provides the foundation for children to make the most of their abilities and talents as they grow up.

Squirrels provide healthy nutritious balance diet menus. We ensure that everything the children eat is of the best quality, the menus are balanced and the children enjoy their food. Our talented chef creates these fantastic meals for the children in keeping with government advice and local authority healthy eating schemes. 

We are extremely privileged at Squirrels because we see children develop and reach their milestones every day. It is extremely important to share these precious memories and wow moments with you when they happen too. That’s why we use the ‘Tapestry’ app.

Tapestry is an online learning journal which is hosted on secure dedicated servers based in the UK. We believe that it is much more than just an online learning journal; it’s a system that keeps you up to date in real time. Tapestry helps educators and parents to record, track and celebrate children's progress in early years education.

As your child achieves each milestone, the app alerts you, enabling you to see what your child is doing. From messy play and first steps to learning phonics and new games, there's so much for children to do, learn and take in.

All our staff receive ongoing training in specialist subjects and we have level 3 SENCO trained staff on site. The majority of our staff are longstanding with 10+ years service!

We welcome you to call us to make arrangements to visit our wonderful nursery. You can enrol your child at any time during the year; we advise that you book in advance to secure your child’s place. Our management team will give you a guided tour around Squirrels and we will explain the day to day routines. Call our management team, they will make arrangements to book you in to visit us or simply pop in if you are passing!
