Little Acorns Day Nursery (Springfield)

Welcome to Little Acorns Day Nursery Springfield.  We are a family run day nursery and afterschool facility, 2nd in the family from Little Acorns Day Nursery Wigan.  Our nursery group was established in July 2013.  Little Acorns Day Nursery Springfield was born in April 2019.  We provide flexible childcare options and offer funded childcare and education for 2, 3 and 4 year old children.  We offer term time and stretched funding options to ensure that our parents can access flexible and affordable childcare solutions.

At our nursery, we strive to offer an exciting and inclusive environment for all of the children who attend.  Our mindful and curious approach to early years pedagogy helps us to provide a home from home feel where children can feel happy and secure to explore their carefully resourced play spaces using real resources.

All of our meals are healthy and nutritious and are fully prepared and cooked onsite using fresh, wholesome ingredients ensuring that the children are offered a well balanced diet throughout the week.  We cater for all cultural and medical dietary requirements.

With our strong team of qualified and experienced staff our activities are planned taking into account each child's individual age and stage of development. 

Children's safety is paramount at our nursery.  Our front door and play area are locked at all times with access given by a qualified member of staff only.  We have CCTV covering our indoor and outdoor environments.
