Ofsted registered childminder in the Winstanley area of Wigan.

We are a family of 7: myself, my husband, my 3 children aged 11,9 and 9, and two step-children aged 12 and 10. 

I provide a welcoming, caring and nurturing home-from-home setting where every child is treated as a unique individual. Within my setting children can play, learn and have fun in a safe environment by exploring the resources I provide, the stimulating indoor playroom and outside area. I provide many opportunities to socialise and learn about the world with outings such as visiting soft play areas, toddler groups, farms, museums, aquariums, pet shops, parks, fruit picking, shopping, nature walks and libraries.

Upon starting at my setting, every child is issued with a daily diary and I pride myself on having excellent communication and relationships with parents/carers. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework within my setting, ensuring that every child is given the opportunity to learn and thrive in every area of their development. A learning journal will be completed during your child’s time with me and daily photographs and updates are provided.

I take my role as a Childminder very seriously and have completed relevant training courses and aim to keep up-to-date in any further courses which are relevant.
