Welcome to Canal House Day nursery Our unique site is located in Wigan by the side of the Leeds and Liverpool canal offering some spectacular views and unique learning opportunities, with a dedicated experienced staff team we will be offering the children a great outdoor environment with aspects of Forest School and outdoor learning sessions.

All of our childcare practitioners are certified in early childhood education. We understand the importance of getting a jump start on education at an early age.

We embrace a learning environment that will prepare children for the first day of school and beyond. The childcare classrooms are separated into various learning areas that promote skill development through various hands-on activities.

Your needs and your child's needs are our top priority. Our focus is strongly on literacy and communication skills. We work closely with parents and our community to work with network and services and provide high-quality child care and education.
Children aged 0 months - 5 years access the setting.
We offer funded places for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. We offer 30 hours funding places for those families who qualify.
