Fledglings Nursery
Wood Fold Fledglings Nursery provides education for children of 3-4 years of age and is situated within Wood Fold Primary school.
We open 39 weeks of the year which is term-time only. The opening hours are 9:00am-3:00pm, Monday to Friday. We can support you with further extended wraparound care if needed within the school's Early Birds and Night Owls facility, between 7:30 am-9:00am and 3:00pm-5:30pm. We have extensive outdoor provision, including soft surface, grassed area, amphitheatre, pond and allotment.
We also have Healthy Setting status and we are one of the first in the Borough to support the 'feel good' mile daily exercise routine. Our aims and objectives are to provide a high quality, safe and educational environment. We have trained, dedicated staff who have been with us for many years. We have an open-door policy - view at any time.
Every member of staff has Health and Safety, Food Hygiene, Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid. We have a level 5 rating from the Foods Standards Agency.
Childcare vouchers are accepted, and we facilitate the 30 hours free childcare at this setting.
