Buckeroo's Childminding
I provide a friendly and caring environment where children flourish.

I am Nicola form Buckeroo's Childminding Service, Astley. It has been my ambition since I qualified as a Nursery Nurse over 20 years ago to become a childminder. Apart from the vast experience of being a mum to my adorable daughter's Sophia, aged 13 and Alicia aged 8. I have over 20 years’ experience of working with children aged 6 months to 18 years; with the majority of my time being in the early years. Therefore, I confidently implement the EYFS in my large playroom and outdoor area. I have a large selection of toys, books, puzzles, ride-ons, push walkers, craft and baking equipment, role play toys, small world, construction etc. I have a large outdoor play area with a swings, house, slides, cars, bikes, scooters and sand and water trays etc. I also have a downstairs toilet with each child having their own hand towel.
I offer a warm, friendly and exciting environment where children feel happy and secure. I offer a cooked meal at lunchtimes and healthy snacks in the morning and afternoon. I am currently still working in a local school on a Thursday and Friday, teaching in year 5. This allows me to keep up to date with the EYFS Curriculum.
