Home based Ofsted registered childminder

I have been an Ofsted Registered Childminder since 2007.  I love the job I do looking after all the children I mind.  I offer a caring, safe and secure, home from home but fun learning environment for all my children to grow and play.  I live on a lovely estate and access wonderful groups and go on lots of outings with all the children in my care. We have access to lots of lovely parks and play sessions, and attend outings on a regular basis. I have lots of inside and outside space for the children to access and have lots of fun learning environments set up in my home where every child is made to feel welcome.

I have 2 separate playrooms where I have lots of toys and equipment for all the different ages and stages of children. The children also have access to all the other rooms on the lower level floor of my house, living room/ dining room / kitchen,  so they can eat, play and explore with lots of areas to choose from. I also have a WC on the lower level of my house. I also have safe designated rooms that can be used for nap times if small children require a nap.

I have a large garden area where the children can play in the sand pit, water area and outside equipment etc, all areas of the garden are accessible to the children, and we have lots of outdoor play equipment. 

I attend lots of fun educational children sessions from nursery rhyme / story telling groups to dance and exercise groups. I also organise days out so the children can experience special places i.e. The Farm / Zoo / Soft Play Areas / Days out at a larger park and picnic etc. I also celebrate special events over the year too i.e. birthdays, Christmas, Easter, Diwali etc 

I am up to date with all my training courses. I enjoy doing as many courses as I can to assure I am up to date with all the information that is required to allow all the children in my care to be safe and have the best possible time while in my setting. I follow the EYFS guidelines to ensure my children are safe, feel welcome and have fun while learning every day. I am also qualified to an NVQ Level 3. Working towards my foundation degree.
