Early Birds & Night Owls

Early Birds and Night Owls provides before and after school care for the children of Wood Fold Primary School and Fledglings Pre-School ages between 3 and 11 years.

The service for school runs from 7:30 am - 8.45 am each morning, and between 3:10 pm and 5:30 pm each afternoon. The afternoon is made up of 2 sessions. session one runs from the end of the school day to 4:30 pm, and session two from 4.30 pm - 5.30 pm.  Each session costs £4.00.  

The service for Fledglings funs from 7.30 am to 9.00 am each morning, and between 3.00 pm and 5.30 pm each afternoon.  The afternoon sessions are as above, and the charge for morning and the first afternoon sessions is £5.00, and the second afternoon session £4.00.

The children have breakfast in the morning and healthy snacks in the afternoon. Specific dietary needs are catered for and all staff are qualified in Food Hygiene.

The club takes a maximum of 60 children under 8 and children over 8 years.

The club accepts childcare vouchers.

Early Birds and Night Owls also run a holiday club for a week at Easter and one week during the summer holiday.  At the present time the cost of this is £20.00 per day and includes all the activities.  A packed lunch is required.

Early Birds and Night Owls and the holiday club invite outside organisations into the club such as the PDSA, Zoo Lab, Birds of Prey, plus lots more.

Some of the activities the children take part in are baking, arts and crafts, music and sporting activities.
