Sacred Heart Nursery is situated at the heart of the community, with strong links to Sacred Heart Parish in Springfield. At Sacred Heart we aim to provide a fun, safe, challenging, rich and broad educational environment that enables each child to thrive and become well-rounded, happy individuals, who are ready to succeed in an ever-changing world. We feel privileged to be entrusted with your children, and we strongly believe in working in partnership with parents to nurture, support and provide all children with high quality learning opportunities to meet their individual needs and outcomes.
We can accommodate up to a maximum of 60 part-time free 15 hours per week places for 3 to 4 year olds, though space permitting, many parents choose to access additional hours, sometimes paid for and sometimes funded by the 30 hours free childcare code for working parents. We also have a before and after school "Heart Club" which is run by school staff, who continue the care before and after the nursery day.
The children are taught by qualified teachers and teaching assistants, and we offer a free-flow play based learning experience with lots of high quality provision both indoors and outdoors; our spacious garden supports children's problem-solving skills and nurtures their creativity, whilst providing rich opportunities for their developing imagination, inventiveness and resourcefulness.
At Sacred Heart, we are PROUD of our children, PROUD of our school and PROUD of our faith and together, we are ready to: make Progress, be Resilient, show Openness, be Unique and Demonstrate our faith.
