Get Along Before & After school Club

Get Along provides before & after school care for the children attending Millbrook Primary School Shevington including our pre-school, Play Along. Get Along has been a successful club for the past 23 years, we do not have a large staff turnover providing consistency for the children. In the mornings, children are offered a 'Breakfast buffet' of various cereals, yoghurt, fresh fruit, toast/muffins/crumpets and fresh fruit juice, milk or water. After-school, snacks include toast, sandwiches, crackers with cheese, soup, bread sticks, waffles, savoury pastry snacks, e.g. sausage/cheese rolls, fresh fruit and salads and milk, water and cordial.  We have both indoor and outdoor access, although only use the outdoor areas after-school. Indoors, children have access to computers, TV, craft activities, board games, a pool table, air-hockey table, football table and we use the school hall for ball games and PE. Outdoors we use the Key Stage Two playground, as well as the school field.  Children again have access to a variety of PE equipment, such as footballs, basketball hoops, outdoor exercise equipment, scooters, trolleys, various wheeled toys, skipping, construction, board games and drawing/colouring/craft activities. Sessions are booked and paid for online, via the School Money App, once a family are registered and we accept childcare vouchers.
