Twist Lane Nursery

Private Day Nursery based in Leigh offering care to children age 6 months - 5 years.

Established in 1994, we are a small nursery registered for 33 children. We provide a warm, caring, friendly environment with 2 large outdoor play areas. A dedicated team of experienced qualified staff provide individual care for their own key groups of children. All snacks and meals are freshly prepared and cooked in the nursery kitchen by our full time chef. The nursery has recently been awarded the Healthy Business Award for our commitment to healthy eating and choices for our children.

The ground floor of the nursery has facilities for children below 3 years of age and the pre-school facilities for children aged 3 and 4 years of age is situated on the first floor the nursery.

Our objective is to provide a safe, caring environment in which children can develop their physical, emotional, social, intellectual and creative skills. We encourage children to develop caring relationships with staff and peers and aim to provide an environment where children feel comfortable, safe and happy to attend. The nursery day is based around a timetable of daily events and routines which children enjoy and can quickly become familiar with.

We aim to reassure parents by providing a high standard of service that is individual, caring and as flexible as possible. Children begin to learn from the moment they are born, the every day events in their home life are just as important to the learning process as the new skills and activities they will encounter at nursery and later in full time education.
