Breakfast and After School Clubs for Children Attending The School

St. Wilfrid's breakfast and after school club is for children attending our school.  It is a fantastic opportunity for children to come together and take part in a wide range of activities at the Academy.

Kidz Klub is the name of our highly sucessful before and after school club which runs during term time. It is a fantastic opportunity for children to come together and take part in a wide range of activities at the Academy.

The Kidz Klub runs for the following times:

7.45am to 8.45am
3.15pm to 6.00pm

Parents can opt for a variety of different finish times throughout the week to help with flexibility for working families.

Activities:
Children at Kidz Klub are involved in a wide range of activities including art, craft, reading, board and computer games, cinema nights, lego and construction toys, outdoor activities, role play and dressing up. They can also find time to do homework or get involved in sporting activities.

Healthy Snacks:
Our Kidz Klub is part of the Academy’s Healthy Foods Policy and as such we have healthy food and drinks during our before and after school club. A wide range of snacks are made for the children including: pitta breads, sandwiches, wraps. cheese, ham, chicken, vegetable sticks, a wide range of fruits, and during the morning, toast, cereal, yoghurt and juice are available.

Staffing:
The staff who work at our Kidz Klub also work in our Academy. This means that the children are building on already established relationships with adults in the Academy and in Kidz Klub.

 All staff have full DBS clearance and are trained in Playwork. Kidz Klub co-ordinators are always available to discuss any matters of concern with yourself.

Payments:
Kidz Klub fees are due at the beginning of each week and are payable IN ADVANCE. Please send via Parent Pay where your account status can also be accessed. We also accept many types of childcare vouchers that employers offer.

Cancellation/Changes to Places:
We require 2 weeks written payable notice of any cancellation or changes to sessions. Any permanent changes to requirements for places must be put in writing to the Academy office. This will include 2 weeks payable notice.

If there are spaces available,  we can accommodate “one-off” sessions which are not part of your usual sessional requirements.  However, you must be a regular registered user of Kidz Klub to use these additional sessions. Should you require additional sessions then please call into the Academy office to enquire about availability.
