Tyldesley Primary School Out of School Club

Out of school care for children attending Tyldesley Primary School.

Our before and after-school Club provides a fun, stimulating, safe environment for your child and it is available to children from Nursery to Year 6.

We aim to:

• Provide a childcare facility that meets the needs of parents/carers.
• Provide a happy, welcoming, safe and secure environment where all children are valued.
• Provide each child with breakfast and an afternoon snack and drinks.
• Have strong relationships with parents/carers.
• Provide a range of structured play activities to engage and stimulate the children

In Breakfast club, children are given a choice of cereals and toast. Parents/carers are responsible for informing the club of any dietary requirements. After the children have eaten they are given the opportunity to get involved in a number of activities. These include:

• Board games
• Lego or construction
• Books
• Drawing, arts and crafts

At the end of the session, the children are escorted to their relevant classrooms.

Children who are booked in to after-school club are escorted by their class teachers. On entering, the children are marked in on the register and are then free to partake in activities. Whilst at club, children will be provided with a snack (see the daily menu displayed within club). Typical activities are:

• Art and crafts
• Team games
• Computing 
• Reading area
• Lego and construction
• Board games
• Role play
• Small world
• Jigsaws/puzzles 

To register your child at before and after-school club please ring the school office and they will ensure the correct paperwork comes home with your child.

Places at our clubs are limited and we recommend early booking to ensure you get all the sessions you need.
