Outstanding Childcare in the Heart of Standish

There has been Pre-school provision at St Marie’s for over 13 years.

All children from the age of 3 are very welcome and the experienced staff aim to help all children achieve their potential. Structured play activities are carefully planned and prepared so that all children can access the 7 areas of learning in the most appropriate way. Children work individually, in small and large groups with a balance of adult–led and child initiated activities.

Joint pre-school and school ventures

In preparation for children moving onto school, we endeavour to join in with school activities on a number of occasions, including joint story session, singing, outdoor and social activities eg assemblies, school plays and parties.
