Welcome to Over The Rainbow Nursery, Ashton.

Over The Rainbow Nursery Logo

Our Nursery underwent new ownership in January 2015. The nursery is operated by a family team of directors. Our setting opens daily from 7.30am till 6.00pm for 51 weeks of the year, closing on public bank holidays and during the Christmas break.

Our aim is to offer a highly professional and quality childcare environment that is welcoming, warm and friendly for children and their families 0-8 years. This is created firstly by our team of practitioners who are long serving, highly trained, ranging from qualifications in Childcare levels 3-4 for all junior staff and levels 4-6 for senior staff members. Over The Rainbow nursery has also a further member of our team who holds EYTS (Early years teacher status) Our nursery environment has carefully been decorated with soft natural furnishings that helps to create an environment that is calm and not overstimulating to young children. This approach has been adapted from the Italian approach of Reggio Emilia. Rooms are divided into babies 0-2 years, toddlers 2-3 years and pre-school 3-5 years.
