Leigh CE Nursery

School Nursery based at Leigh CE Primary School, providing care for children aged 2-4 years.

Leigh CE Nursery is based within Leigh CE Primary School in Leigh, situated in the heart of the community and has the benefit of being part of 'The Wings' CE Trust'.

As a Nursery we believe that we are privileged to be entrusted with your children. We strongly believe in working in partnership with parents to nurture, support and provide all children with high quality learning opportunities to meet their individual needs and outcomes. This provides a secure foundation from which our children are encouraged to be happy and confident in their love for learning as they continue their educational journey in school.

We have a Toddler Room and Pre-School, children are able to access both indoor and outdoor provision, as we understand the importance and benefits of outdoor learning for all children. We also recognise that all children are unique and learn and develop at different rates and in different ways, through playing and exploring, being active and through being creative and critical in their thinking.

We offer free government funded places for children ages 2, 3 and 4 years, including the 30 hours government funded childcare for those eligible. Within the Toddler Room we have capacity for 8 children in any one session and in the Pre-School Room we have capacity for 16 children.
