Highfield Grange Pre-School
Term time childcare setting operating Monday to Friday 9am to 3pm
We are a small friendly pre-school that take a friendly and fun approach to learning. We use the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum and encourage children to learn through play and offer a wide range of activities including sand/water, books/musical instruments, arts/crafts, ICT, role play area, construction, mathematical area, mark making area, dance/movement, physical activities and outdoor play.
Our manager has a Degree in Early Years education, Room leader is level 6 qualified, two members are NVQ 3 qualified in Early Year Childcare and one working towards a level three. Staff are also qualified in food hygiene, first aid and safeguarding children.
We welcome parents to join the pre-school committee and value their help during pre-school sessions.
All children are given individual goals and their own interests are used to develop knowledge.
All staff have undertaken Covid safe training.
Childcare vouchers are accepted.
2 year funded and non-funded places
15 and 30 hour funded places
Vacancies available from September 2023
Minimum of 18 hours per week
