My service provides a sound home from home environment where children can learn and develop through play. Linked to EYFS. I am qualified to NVQ Level 3 in Childcare, Learning and Development and have been childminding since January 1996. I have 2 grown up children and grandchildren.
I offer a wide range of stimulating and challenging activities and cater for children from 2 months to 11 years. I provide an outdoor space for play and regularly take the children out and about - library, parks, feeding the ducks etc. We have quiet time and story time and lots more. I involve the children in adult led activities (art and craft etc) and encourage learning and development skills through free play. This helps children to become independent and develops their ability to think for themselves.
