My name is Kelly Pike, I am an Ofsted Registered Childminder in the Astley area. I live with my Husband and 2 children aged 8 and 6 year old. I offer a secure, warm, loving and welcoming home from home environment for your children, dedicating the whole of the ground floor along with the back garden. I follow the Early Years Foundation Stage programme to help promote children's welfare and prepare them to be School Ready.
I take the children in my care on outings to the park, splash parks, farm, beach, children centres and sensory gardens and we have different learning themes each week, which will be shaped around areas of learning or special events happening around the world.
My working day starts from 7.30am till 6pm Monday – Friday. I can do full days as well as drop off and pick up from Garrett Hall School and I can take on children from 6 months onwards.
I offer a healthy balanced breakfast, lunch and dinner with snacks in between for your little ones and I can cater for any special dietary requirements.

I have a main play room that goes on to the back garden, all toys and resources are at childrens level so they can access them freely. My living room area is used for quiet activities plus story time.

- My qualification include-: A bespoke training course in childcare Safeguarding and welfare, Pediatric First Aid and Food Hygiene Level 2, I also have training in Learning through play in the Early years, behaviour management. My qualifications are always on going and once I have completed them I will add them to my list. I'm happy to take on additional courses for any special requirements that your child needs.
